We live in a broken, fragmented utopia. Altered by a disembodied monster that gives no respite and the space it inhabits. So powerful and capable that it hurts us without touching us, and the wounds it causes are incurable. It dominates and trains us to the beat of the clock, with the trace of its memory.

Society is dead, long live society.

We are blind, drunk, dead-alaive. Living like zombies to the sound of time, we are animals, guided by our hunger to get to where it has been imposed on us, we are in a hurry. We do not have time to stop and rethink if we really want to go there. Or maybe we do, but we don't want to because we are frightened; like when we were children terrified of the monster hiding inside the closet, camouflaged among the clothes we were ad hoc to wear. We have been in there so long that we have developed claustrophobia. We are tired, fed up and full of ignorance. We are lethal, rabid and implacable with those who do not follow our path, we will do the unthinkable to drive them away, to make them invisible, to kill them. In order to perpetuate our way of life, and to continue rotting comfortably on our throne.

With this series of images I seek to question and criticize a traditionalist, sexist and self-centered state. That oppresses, invisibilizes and tries to methodically eliminate that which breaks with its idea of what is correct and should be perpetuated.
